"Connecting People with Technology."

Unlimited dial-up access does not include 24 hour-a-day connections. Anyone connected for more than 23 consecutive hours can be disconnected and will not be allowed to log on for one hour. Repeated violations of this stipulation is grounds for disconnection. If you would like to have a 24-hour connection to the Internet we have several options available.

I understand that I am fully responsible for my own actions as well as the actions of those with access to my Internet account. The owners and operators of Provident Technologies, Inc. cannot be held responsible for actions taken by me or persons with access to my account.

I will not use my Provident Technologies, Inc.account to engage in illegal activity. Provident Technologies, Inc. cooperates fully with Law enforcement. If your account information or any data associated with your account is requested by a Law enforcement official we reserve the right to provide that information without warrant or subpoena.

I will not be abusive or discourteous when calling for tech support or attempting to resolve problems with Provident Technologies, Inc.

Provident Technologies, Inc. reserves the right to modify or discontinue our services or your account with us, with or without notice, without liability to you, any other user or any third party. We reserve the right to cancel your account if we learn you provided false or misleading registration information, interfered with other users or the administration of Provident Technologies' Services, or violated any stipulations of this agreement.

Provident Technologies, Inc. will provide free technical phone support during Business Hours for problems related to the setup and connection of Internet accounts on systems running Win 98 or later or Mac OS version 7.6.1 or later. If you are running another operation system (i.e. Win 3.11 or Linux) we cannot provide free support. Help with problems not directly related to the set up and connection to the Internet, will be handled on a charge basis. We can not provide tech support related to the use of third party web sites, even if we provide a link to the site. We can not provide tech support for third party software installed on your computer, even if the software is causing Internet connection problems. Before calling be sure to have your system disks and Internet connection software disks available. Provident Technologies, Inc. provides no waranty as to the fitness of the Internet connection provided for any use.

Provident Technologies, Inc. will not be held liable for loss of data or damage to the hardware or software resulting from the following:
1. The installation of Internet software by a representative of Provident Technologies, Inc..
2. The installation of software by the owner of the system or someone with access to the system.
3. Advice or instruction given during a phone support session.

Provident Technologies, Inc. is not responsible for long distance charges or any other charges incurred by the customer while connecting to the Internet or while using the Internet.

Provident Technologies, Inc. is not responsible for content provided on the Internet. Provident Technologies, Inc. does not engage in censorship or content filtering. Control of the content available through your Internet account is your responsibility and should be implemented by you.

E-mail policies:

Provident Technologies, Inc. provides E-mail boxes for its Internet customers at the customers risk. We are not responsible for loss of E-mail due to Internet problems, system malfunctions, or system miss-configuration.

Provident Technologies, Inc.Computer Solution's servers shall not be used to send unsolicited (bulk) E-mail. Complaints regarding the use of your Provident Technologies, Inc.connection to send this type of mail may result in loss of service without refund. All requests made to Provident Technologies, Inc.Customers to stop sending E-mail to any E-mail address must be honored. Failure to do so may result in loss of service without refund.

Provident Technologies, Inc.Account refund and payment policies:

No refund shall be given without a receipt.

No refund shall be given for accounts canceled by Provident Technologies, Inc. for reasons of abuse or misconduct as stated in this document.

No refund shall be given on a monthly account unless the customer cannot connect to the Internet and all measures to remedy the problem have been exhausted by Provident Technologies, Inc..

Refunds of annual accounts can be obtained for any reason with a minimum 30-day written notice and copy of receipt. Refunds shall be given at a prorated basis based on the current monthly charge. Upon receipt of the account cancellation notification we will process the information and the refund will be mailed within 30 days.

Holders of Internet accounts will be notified by E-mail aprox. two weeks prior to the account due date. In the event that you do not receive notification you are still responsible for timely payment. If the account is not paid in full by the due date and arrangements have not been made and approved by Provident Technologies, Inc., the account will be suspended (you will not be able to log on to the Internet or retrieve your e-mail until your account is reactivated, your e-mail will be held by our server and your personal web pages will still be available until your account is canceled). If the account is not paid in full within 30 days of the due date your account will be canceled (all data pertaining to your account including web pages and e-mail will be deleted).
